Kansas worker killed in explosion

  • A Bushton, Kansas, man working on an oil well was killed during a workplace incident.
  • Two men were welding at an oil well site when some type of gas buildup exploded, according to the Harper County Sheriff Department.
  • The victim was identified as 57-year-od Charles Weber.
  • A medical helicopter flew another 27-year-old man to a burn unit in Wichita for treatment and his condition has not been released.

Airpot worker stabbed

  • A San Francisco International Airport worker was stabbed at a baggage claim area and taken to a hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
  • A suspect was taken into custody but police have not released any more information.
  • It was the third security incident in four weeks at the airport.
  • A man was arrested for allegedly reporting a false bomb threat and another suspect attacked three people with a machete in the airport’s international terminal.
