Connecticut Sees Spike In Workplace Illnesses

  • Connecticut reported a 21 percent jump in the overall rate of workplace illness from 2021 to 2022, to 50.6 cases per 10,000 workers.
  • Musculoskeletal disorders were the largest group of workplace ailments in 2022, accounting for 41 percent of the reports.
