
Baltimore Strikes $152M Opioid Settlement With Cardinal Health
- Baltimore reached a $152.5 million settlement with Cardinal Health to resolve the city’s claims against the drug provider for its role in the city’s persistent opioid crisis.
- Mayor Brandon Scott announced the agreement on Friday, the city’s third settlement in as many months, after a $45 million settlement with Allergan in June, and a $45 million settlement with CVS earlier in August.
- The funds will be used “solely for opioid remediation,” the mayor’s statement noted.
