Missouri’s Workers’ Comp Rate Tick Up
- The Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance says that the state’s 2026 workers’ comp loss costs will increase on average by 1.3%.
- The filing by the National Council on Compensation Insurance shows that loss costs for manufacturing are up 2.9% while the contracting sector will see only 0.3% increase.
- “Although we’re seeing a small uptick in rates this year, the overall trend continues to show that Missouri workplaces are safer, and costs remain well below historical levels,” DCI Director Angela Nelson.
